Power Management Setup

The Power Management Setup allows you to configure your system to most effectively

save energy while operating in a manner consistent with your own style of computer

use.

Power Management

This option allows you to select the type (or degree) of power saving and is directly

related to the following modes:

• Doze Mode

• Standby Mode

• Suspend Mode

• HDD Power Down

There are four selections for Power Management, three of which have fixed mode

settings.

Disabled No power management. Disables all four modes (Default).

Min Power

Saving

Minimum power management. Doze Mode = 1 hour, Standby Mode =

1 hour, Suspend Mode = 1 hour, and HDD Power Down = 15

minutes.

Max Power

Saving

Maximum power management – only available for SL CPUs. Doze

Mode = 1 minute, Standby Mode = 1 minute, Suspend Mode = 1

minute, and HDD Power Down = 1 minute.

User Define Allows you to set each mode individually. Each mode can be

disabled. When not disabled, each mode can be set from 1 minute
